First 104 Backwards Compatible Games For Xbox One
  • For those of us that have our beloved Xbones, the list of the backwards compatible games from 360 just went live over on Major Nelson's blog. There's some good gems in there, and if you bought the Rare Replay you'll have a couple of these already on your console. There's also been a mention that the list will continue to update overtime with Call Of Duty: Black Ops, Halo Reach, Halo Wars, BioShock, BioShock 2, BioShock Infinite, and Skate 3 being some of the confirmed ones.

Here's the full list as of right now. Backwards compatibility drops on November 12th for everyone. Also, all future Games With Gold titles on 360 will also be available on Xbox One, so that's a handful of free games per month.

  • I wish Sony would do this too.

Condemned is great. The first Dead Rising and Saint's Row games should definitely be on that list, since you can't get them anywhere else. If that list gets long enough, I might even pick up a Bone.
  • @Dr Flibble

They're letting people vote on the next titles to be dropped in.

    Dead Rising - 13,318 Votes

    Saints Row - 6,738 Votes

    Saints Row 2 - 9,993 Votes

Saints Row: The Third - 20,759 Votes
  • Why bother with the voting? Just do it! Games that don't get many votes aren't going to be ignored are they? Because that'd suck.
  • The whole games with gold being backwards compatibile excites me more. I have very few Xbox 360 games downloaded. I have discs but I put them into storage and I can not be arsed to route those back out again.

I will more than likely try every single gold game.
  • I'm surprised Geometry Wars isn't there as I've been playing it in the Preview Program and it plays without any issues (that I can spot).
  • @Dr Flibble

I don't know, some lower voted games are on that list, so we'll see. If they add in Dark Souls I'll do some things.
