    What new game series dominated in 2015? Alien Isolation won last year, but to win this year the title must be an entirely brand new intellectual property.

    I just don't think of Bloodborne as a new IP. You can take souls out of the name, but it is clearly Souls 4.

    Splatoon? That came out and was pretty awesome. Who could have thought Nintendo would make a competitive shooter and it be well great.

    FIFA 16. It's unrecognisable from the previous FIFA games, so I don't think you can classify it as a sequel.

    The art style is amazing, sound is top notch, the enemies as ghoulish as you like.

    Even if the story is pretty much a  vague Cthulhu type deal, i found it oddly engaging.
