Namco Bandai officially canceled Dancing Eyes, a game that lets users cut out rectangular pieces of clothes from dancing girls, after earlier plans to release a hi-def version for PlayStation Move.
News of the cancellation came this week in the latest Famitsu release chart.
The title was announced in July 2011 after first appearing in a list of future releases for PlayStation Move in 2010, however the firm has offered little information regarding the game's development since.
The Japanese title was cancelled once before, before later resurfacing as an in-development release for PSN.
Dancing Eyes was originally released to Japan in 1996 and featured a user-controlled monkey creature used to solve puzzles on a grid drawn across a female character's clothes.
We have reached out to Namco for comment and will update the story when they respond
