• So I got to play around with Google + for 5 minutes last night and its good. It seems like Google has gone for a Facebook, twitter hybrid. I like it. Anyway who else has Google plus because I would be cool to me a noobtoob circle going also add me if you want I am Lee Hazelwood on there. Oh yeah if anyone wants an invite too pop me a pm or tweet @nutta27 with your email and I would be happy to send you one.

EDIT Preferably use twitter because I very rarely check pm's on here. Infact never checked 'em
  • I don't see any reason to look at it myself. Just because it's Google? I'm perfectly fine with Facebook.
  • I have been meaning to try it out just never got an invite haha. wouldn't mind try it out.
  • I realy like the Circles because now i actually gonna use it. On facebook you just spam stuff and anyone can see it. I for example have now a Circle for noobtoob and one for my friends etc. and so i can see now fast what i want.
  • I really like it so far!

This is a big thing for me. My "Professional" circle is nice and barren, a wasteland for fools I don't truly want to be friends with.
  • I got an invite from a friend, but it's apparently only open to people above the age of 18. :(

This is the big thing for me. I'm willing to ditch the few features +Plus doesn't ape from Facebook just for circles. It won't be long until Facebook copies them back and adds "Circles" for themselves but even then, I like Google+ as a mixture of a networking site and a sharing site. I'm more interested in discussing links with people than commenting on their status generally. I'm not converted to the Church of Plus yet but I do like what it has to offer. I sorta miss being able to list Queen in my favorite music, but I don't miss the messages that get spammed to me that "On this day in 1978, in _____ Square, Queen blah blah blah". I also realize how little those profile details added to my Facebook experience. I never had a friend come along and say 'OH, you like 80s WuXia Soap Operas too? what a coincidence!'.
  • i dont ahve a twitter account but cna someone PM me an invite? i must see what all this talk of circles is about

    EDIT: got one

Right. Except it's almost too easy to recommend links (seeing that the +1 button is right next to each search entry). I noticed this when doing my nightly porn search. Don't think I want my friends/family knowing which sites I go to, but it's bound to accidentally happen what with how close to the link they put it!

You can use http://gplus.to/ to shorten your Google+ link.
  • Add me too gplus.to/theoneb Thanks ineptic for the invite!

Google+ is really neat so far. Just need to add more people to make it worth using.
  • I definitely like the stylings a lot better than Facebook, and the Twitter-esque functionality of being able to add people to a "following" circle is pretty great too.

  • I don't have an account, how many people can a person invite?
  • can someone swing me an inv please? Fed up with facebook except for the games lol
  • I would love to expand my 'Gamer' Circle :D
    If you want, add me!
I am registered with my real name: Elbin Cenisev
  • gplus.to/fuzzyhero is mine, naturally.
  • If google plus was a woman I would marry her.
  • Joins the crowd ... anyone have an invite they could spare? :)
