Wait... a Tekken movie? Visuals look really good, and I beleive there's potential to make a good story. Hmm, it has caught my interest.
My initial reactions upon seeing this:
Awesome, a new Tekken game!
Wait, a movie? God damnit.
This looks lame.
You know your résumé for this kind of thing sucks when you list "Opening Cinematics" as an achievement.
Holy shit they got Dai Sato to do the script? That man is very good. Cowboy Bebop, Ergo Proxy, Ghost in the Shell: SAC...
So, I would say I am intrigued because of Sato but very hesitant based on the fact it is a movie based off of a video game universe - a fighting game no less.
Ling and Alisa?
Riding on the back of Panda?
With something like that being shown it looks like they're going to entirely revamp her storyline. Why? If they do that the past 3 games will have meant phooey. Not that her story was in anyway deep or anything, but still, phooey!
I'm ready for it, I always forget what happens it Tekken's lolstory because it's just too damn confusing. If they change it a little bit to to make more sense I'm up for it.
Well for a start they have to pump in alot more Paul Pheonix and Kuma to make this watchable for me![]()
Blood Vengeance? Did Rob Liefeld think of the title?
