The inspiration for these stories come from our fellow community member, Sunflower. All props go to him for the inspiration, and the idea. These are based on true events, but told in a "writer's perspective". So, expect a kind of short-story kind of deal. Anyways, onward!

The year is 2009 and I'm in high-school, Grade 11 to be exact. The wind was quite strong that day and the rain was splashing against the windows, creating a kind of melodic lullaby, that was the most calming thing you could ever heard. It was pure relaxation. The class was "Law Class" and the room was full of students wanting to learn some things about law, which you should expect if you're studying Law, it just makes sense.

The storm outside was picking up, and the rain was hitting the windows so hard it was almost deafening the teacher, and he eventually gave up on the lecture/lesson and put on a film which we had to watch, study, and eventually write an assignment about the film. The steady sound of thunder in the distance, and the sound of rainfall allowed me to focus in, and prepare to jot down notes for the film "A Time To Kill" which starred Samuel L Jackson (without any snakes, or force powers) and Matthew McSomething or other. So, as the film was playing out and we were trying to watch the film, and deal with some fellow students being idiots some kid beside me was carving a pentagram into his desk, and I could faintly make out the sound of the wood of the desk being carved away.

Normally, this kid seemed like a cool kind of guy. Real down to earth, and compassionate but today something seemed odd about him, hell..he was carving a pentagram into a school desk. It didn't really seem like the "cool" thing to do. So, I shrugged it off and continued jotting down my notes, and dealing with this annoying kid carving his desk. I was so close to snapping, I could feel my face getting hot, and my temper rising. I've seen some stupid things on desks at school. Things like cocks, racial slurs, you know the usual thing, but I had never, ever witnessed a pentagram on a desk.

Fast forward a couple of weeks, and I saw the kid pull a huge, thick, black book from his locker and toss it into his back. On the cover was a pentagram, and I started thinking in my head that this kid is into the occult, and satanism. So, being the curious chap I am, I decided to ask him about the book, and the pentagram he was carving away. I gulped and headed over (nobody really associated with the kid, everyone figured he was violent) and immediately he brought up if I had seen the book. I nodded kind of discreetely and said yes, and he began telling me it was his "Spell book" and that he was the Antichrist. Woah, woah, wait? Yeah, this kid truly did believe he was the Antichrist. At that moment, I said "Yeah, alright" and walked away, never looking back.

Eventually, about a year later he was charged for killing two squirrels, and tying them to a tree. Apparently, he was found at the location of the tied up squirrels with candles all around him, and his big, black book with him. That is what people were saying at-least, and it kind of brought everything to reality. I seriously started believing he was "evil" and was going to kill somebody.
