I swear that title sounded way cooler the first time I thought about it!
Hello! Yes, it has been a long time (2 months or so) since I have done this. These days, I am very unsure as to what I want to blog about, if I even have anything at all! And most of the time, it seems arrogantly self-indulgent, to me. The only writing I do with any regularity are my weekly anime reviews and editorials for an anime blog that actually gets quite a few hits.
I don't have much to talk about. Two weeks ago or so was JAFAX, a free anime convention with 3000-4000 people. It was a blast. I cosplayed as Naota Nandaba from FLCL, which is a simple, dull cosplay. Only about 8-9 people said anything about it. XD
My gaming drought has been well ended lately. I've been logging quite a bit of time in the original Neverwinter Nights (fun game as always, not as good as 2), the Uncharted 3 beta (fun... not amazing), and Dissidia 012 (my favorite fighting game this year, although that isn't really saying much). I am about to explode from wanting to play in the Star Wars: The Old Republic beta. It doesn't help that some people on Ventrilo are in and talk about how much they like it. XD
But, I am having some recent thoughts about my games collection. It's big (about 450-500 games), getting bigger all the time, and I haven't even played the majority of them. I am considering scaling back, but I am still on the fence about the whole issue. I would still hang onto favorites and ones I play, and still purchase new games I really want, but I have several shelves that are overflowing with games that I will never touch. I'm not sure how much money I could feasibly make, but it's money that could go towards a trip to Asia or something. On the flip side, selling them is a lot of work, and in the past I've gotten burned by selling stuff I later wanted to play.
Anyways, cheers. Sorry for a boring entry... but I guess something is better than nothing? Maybe not.
