Indie Gamer Roulette: lasercat

This week I eat sushi, pizza, ice cream and soup, Oh and I play some really cool indie games. Delivering some of the tastiest dishes from the gaming ghettos, they'll have you licking the plate and wanting more.
LaserCat
I've never played jet set willy or manic miner, I've only read of them in gaming history books. So if your old enough to know what they are then you'll be right at home with this game. For those not initiated in the ancient lore of Amiga's and Commador 64 its a basic platformer, but alot more forgiving than N+ or super meat boy.
As LaserCat its your mission to save your buddy owlfreind from the evil space frog wizzords castle by collecting 30 keys hidden around his castle. The game is separated into rooms 225 different rooms, so luckily theres a metroid-vania style map to help you navigate around and every so often theres signs that can be used to warp around the map. Each room has a unique name and one of the main appeals for me is exploring just to find out what the next rooms all about. The sound effects are memorable, and I found myself meow meow meowing along with LaserCat.

Trying something new out this week, doing individual reviews 2 or 3 time a week instead of a load bunched in together, we'll see how it goes.
This week I've been drinking Good Earth Jasmine Blossom Tea and Liptons infusions alps (mint and eucalyptus).
