INDIE GAMER ROULETTE

For all my overseas compatriates that like watching the good doctor you should know that the new series just started last night, second season with Matt Smith as the doctor. I'll try to keep all the spoilers under the tag. For those that havent seen Dr Who yet it is a modern science fiction show about time travelers, about an hour long each episode. its a PG, no swearing or nudity or over the top violence, so the kids can watch it as well. Apart from some 2 parters most episodes can be watched in any order, so don't be afraid of hopping into one or two random shows.

last nights episode

Bit grim this one, innit. Starting off with the doctors most recent companions Amy (a fit ginger, who would have thought?) and Rory in a bit of domestic bliss when they get a mysterious invitation, so off to america where they meet the doctor in a stetson and are then joined by resident milf River Song. Then they go off to the lake for a picnic and some death.. wait, what? this is actually a serious episode. I'm not going to write up the whole episode but a notable mention goes to the part at near the end with River and Rory, it was quite deep. the alien looked daft but the whole forgetting mechanic was kinda creepy, reminded me alot of the scary-ness I used to get from the x files.

If anyone else is a fan, what series/episodes do you think a good jumping off point would be for someone thats not seen any?
